You might know us as Westoaks Self Storage, where we've been serving the community of Thousand Oaks since 1995. Lately you may have noticed that we have a new brand name, SoCal Self Storage. Our motto is "Nice" and our mission in life is to make self storage Nice and easy.

When you need self storage, you want to know that your beloved stuff will be secure and protected. Our secure storage facility is located on Townsgate Rd, just ¼ Mile away from the 101 freeway. We offer a variety of unit sizes to accommodate your needs - from household goods and furniture to business documents and records. For your convenience and peace of mind, we offer individually alarmed doors, drive up access, digital surveillance and a free move-in truck.

Coming from San Fernando Valley:
Take the 101N, exit 40 on the CA-23S. Make a left turn onto Westlake Blvd, then make the first right onto Townsgate Rd. SoCal Self Storage-Westoaks is located on the right hand side of Townsgate Rd.

Coming from Ventura:
Take the 101S exit onto Hampshire Rd, turn right. Proceed to Townsgate Rd and turn left. SoCal Self Storage-Westoaks is located on the right hand side of Townsgate Rd.

Friendliness and Security
"I moved my "stuff" here, knowing someday I would be moving back into a house. Previously, it was stored with a large chain in the Valley. There, my unit was broken into & much stolen. I checked quite carefully before choosing Westoaks Self Storage. From my first visit I was impressed with the friendly staff, the security of the units, the clear labeling of the aisles with local names and the convenient access times. Now, several years later, I am moving into that home and my "stuff" is coming with me. The staff has been every bit as friendly with the "move-out" as it was with the "move-in." I look forward to the completion your office remodel & the offer of a cup of coffee. I shall unhesitatingly recommend to anyone in need of storage."

Surprisingly good customer service
"Nowdays, most places try to have good customer service, but Westoaks reminds of the way things were back in Fifties, back before this country went to hell in handbasket. When I walk in the Manager knows my name, and even shoots the breeze with me for a couple of minutes. Once I forgot to pay the bill, and he called me so I wouldn't get a late fee. To be frank, I'm only writing this review because they asked me if I would, normally I wouldn't go out of my for something like this, but I think this business deserves it. It's refreshing to see an employee who cares about his business and his customers. Good Job Westoaks Storage!"
